ESD Floor Installation by Static Safe Environments. SSE has over 40 years experience installing ESD compliant flooring in all sectors that require ESD and anti-static flooring for protecting sensitive components from ESD.

SSE offers a full turnkey ESD floor service, from the initial discussion and site visit if required, through to guidance on specifying the appropriate ESD floor material and installation based on specific requirements, supply, installation, and a final ESD test and Certificate of Conformance ready for the new ESD flooring to be used.

All flooring options SSE offer comply comfortably within the requirements of BS EN IEC 61340-5-1 Electrostatics – Protection of electronic devices from electrostatic phenomena. 61340-5-1 states that an ESD floor must have a resistance to ground (Rg) of below 1.0 x 109 (1 gigohm) and an absolute value of body voltage of less than 100 volts (based on average of 5 highest peaks). SSE’s ESD flooring has a body voltage generation as low as <10 V (NeoStat RX Rubber) and Rg below 1.0 x 106 or <1 Megohm (NeoStat VXI Interlocking Conductive Vinyl).
