CX Dissipative Carpet Tiles

CX Dissipative Carpet Tiles are a good choice for anti-static flooring, providing adequate secondary grounding in non-manufacturing areas such as server rooms, offices within or off EPAs, critical control centres and data storage areas.

CX carpet is supplied in tile format which enables quick installation and incurs less wastage than sheet materials. The loop pile carpet tiles have a conductive backing and are available in a variety of colours.

Installation

Laid on a grid of copper making direct contact with the underside of each CX dissipative carpet tile, the tiles are stuck in place using an easy release adhesive which allows the tiles to be peeled up and lifted, if required.

Finally, the tiles are terminated to an earth bonding point which also serves as a floor test point.

Following an SSE floor installation, the floor with be tested to check it’s dissipative performance and a Certificate of Conformance issued to confirm it complies to the requirements of BS EN IEC 61340-5-1.
