Use for safely grounding personnel handling ESD sensitive components to prevent the build up of static electricity that can cause ESD damage. The user wears the ESD wrist strap making contact with the skin. The wrist strap is connected to a grounded wrist strap bonding point on a bench or piece of grounded equipment via an earth grounding lead suitable for use for personnel grounding.
